Two people were found tied to a tree in Logan Canyon around 1:10 p.m. today.

Kevin Raymond was on a hike near the Cove when he saw stray cows in the area. He then found two people tied to a tree.

Aubrey Quail from the Forest Service said the FBI suspect a possible hostage situation.

In a recent press conference, Emil Dickinson said his wife and son, Louise and Donnie Dickinson, went missing earlier today.

Emil Dickinson said the mother and son went for a hike around 4:30 a.m. this morning and was concerned when they didn’t return.

“I’m actually in a really emotional unstable time right now,” Dickinson said.

The two found in the canyon have not yet been identified and the cattle have not been confirmed as being part of the rustling from earlier today.

FBI said they want the public to let authorities handle the situation, and to stay away from the Cove.
