On Friday around noon, a bomb threat was made to the Mountain West Public Radio station in Logan. Lt. Brad Franke of the Logan Police Department headed an evaluation of the building.

“ERPA, which is classified with a terrorist organization that has been involved with bombing in the past,” Franke said. “We felt we really needed to take this serious. We evacuated the building and kind of walked around the area and called for the bomb squad to come in.”

Franke has confirmed that there has been no bomb found yet but they are actively searching the area.

“It’s all kind of chaos right now,” Franke said. “I can confirm that the building is empty and the area is contained.”
