SALT LAKE CITY – Logan High School clinched its spot in the 4A championship boys’ basketball game last night in an upset win against Bountiful. The Grizzlies won 72-68.

“They played us hard all the way,” said Bountiful coach Mike Woods.

The leading scorers were Logan player Jackson Upton, with 23 points, and Bountiful player Chad Keppler, with 27 points.

“We’ve always known we can run with the big boys,” said Logan coach Greg Sorenson. “Now we get to prove it.”

Logan’s win sets up the title game with Timpview to be played on Friday at the Huntsman Center.
